For those of you who live far from the ocean and long to relax to the soothing sounds that only waves can make, EarthCoach Institute has traveled to a beautiful, secluded, sacred cove on the coast of Malibu to bring you something very special.
We have captured the magic of our favorite beach and joyfully offer to share it with you in the hope that you too will find similar inspiration in the stunning, dramatic, sonic dream that is the “majesty of the surf.”

Malibu is a word from the Chumash tribe of Native Americans and it means
“the place where the surf pounds loudly on the rocks.”
The Chumash inhabited a very large area from the San Fernando Valley to the coastline  and they recognized the magic of these waves five thousand years ago!
To put that into perspective, these beautiful people were in Malibu when the pyramids of Egypt were being constructed!

 

In order to guarantee the authenticity of these sounds for you, we personally climbed down the coastal bluffs with our equipment and sat right next to the microphones as they captured that particular moment in time.

We hope you enjoy being right next to us in this place where the sun burned hot on our skin, the wind cooled it down, the birds laughed and played (you can hear them on the cd), and the ocean mystified us, taking us to a place beyond time.
